Another storm so close to last week's is causing some real problems for a lot of people, many of whom are in Sullivan County. With the amount of snow expected and many homes without power, warming centers are being opened and remaining so throughout the weekend. Here are the details we have at this point.

If you live in Ulster County and you are still without power or someone you know is homeless, head to Ulster County's Warming Center, hosted by the Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church.

According to Ulster County Executive Mike Hein, the center will be open from now until tomorrow, Thursday, March 8 at 7 am.  After that point, they will re-open from 7 pm to 7 am from tomorrow, Thursday, March 8 through Tuesday, March 13. They will not only offer warmth but a hot evening meal and breakfast. Folks from the American Red Cross will staff the center and any homeless adult, 18 years or older, is welcome to come in and take shelter from the cold. The Family of Woodstock also will provide resources for those in need. If you need additional help, please call 845-679-2485.
