New York State Police have concluded a four-month-long burglary investigation in Pleasant Valley with the Oct. 4 arrest of 39-year-old Jason A. Cole of Washington, New York.
Troopers had responded to a Tyrell Road address on June 15 for a report of a burglary and began their investigation. The investigation determined that on that June day Cole entered the residence illegally with the intent to commit a crime.
Cole was arraigned on the charge of Burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony in the Pleasant Valley Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. The alleged burglar is scheduled to appear in town court again on October 9 at 10:00 AM.
