Was Katie Holmes at the Columbia County Fair This Weekend?

You never know who you're going to run into while in the Hudson Valley or Catskill region.

Production companies have been finding their way up from the city to our neck of the woods, bringing some big named celebs to town. A few months back Bill Murray, Selena Gomez, Adam Driver, Chloë Sevigny, and Steve Buscemi were seen in Ulster County filming a new zombie movie.

It also feels like celebrities use the Hudson Valley and Catskills as an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and getting recognized everywhere they go.

So it should come to no surprise that we spot celebs frequently enjoying themselves around town.

And  it seems we have another sighting on our hands. One of our listeners, Ryan, sent us an email on Saturday, September 1st saying he saw Katie Holmes enjoying herself at the Columbia County Fair.

Ryan tells us that it looked like she was just having a great time with friends and that it "Seemed like she just wanted to be a regular person for a day."

If you're not familiar with Katie Holmes work she played the iconic role of Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek. She's also played Jackie Kennedy in the TV mini series The Kennedys: Decline and Fall and played Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins in 2005.

Holmes is rumored to be dating fellow actor, Jamie Foxx.
