Warrant Wednesday: Dutchess County Man Wanted for Grand Larceny

This week’s outstanding warrants have been posted on the New York State Police’s Facebook page. Here is just one of the individuals they are looking for, but they ask that all of us help spread the word.

New York State Police Troop K Poughkeepsie, are looking for 61-year-old Matthew F. Alperin for grand larceny 3rd degree. According to the New York State Police, Alperin is wanted by the New York State Police and the Town of Clinton Court following a fraud complaint reported to police in 2013. An investigation revealed that Alperin fraudulently used the victim's personal bank account information, obtained when selling merchandise at a local craft fair, to steal over $4,900, according to the NY State Police. Alperin is believed to be in Ashville, NY.
