Walkway Over the Hudson Fireworks

Tickets go on sale for the Walkway Over the Hudson fireworks event this week.

If you are planning to try and view the July 4th fireworks display from the beautiful Walkway Over the Hudson this year, you need to get your tickets this week, according to the Daily Freeman.

If you are a walkway member you can buy your $10 tickets starting at noon today (Tuesday) online at walkway.org.

If you aren't a member you can get tickets online starting Thursday at noon or you can stop into a participating store to buy your tickets for $12.50. Some of the stores carrying tickets this year include Adams fairacre farms in Poughkeepise and Wappingers Falls, Pomod’oro Pizza Cafe and Ma & Pa’s Kettle Corn in Highland.

Kids 10 and under are free, but do need a ticket to enter.

This event has sold out in the last few years so get your tickets now. Proceeds from this great event help to pay for the fireworks, benefit emergency services and Walkway programs.

If we do get rain on the 4th of July the rain date is set for July 7th.
