Vintage Recipes

I love finding and cooking old recipes. I have a collection of cookbooks and 2 of my favorites are a 1932 edition of Better Homes & Garden Cookbook, and a 1960 "How to entertain anyone in your home". The photos and drawings alone are just too much fun, especially the one from 1960, there's so much Avocado green and Harvest Gold that it's sometimes hard to tell the food from the counter top.

Typically, I've had pretty good results, especially in the dessert section, the cakes are amazing! While looking on You tube for Vintage recipes, thinking maybe I would find an old cooking demo or commercial, I stumbled across this. While I was laughing, I will never make any of these recipes!
