Tuesday, will be a much different day, then Monday.  People in the Hudson Valley will wake up to warmer temperatures and increased humidity.  Temperatures have been in the 60’s but now you’ll see daytime temps in the 80’s for the rest of the week.  There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the reminder of the week as well.

It will unseasonable warm for the second week in September.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday:  Cloudy, high near 80.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day.  Then showers and thunderstorms expected in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night:  Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 79.  A chance of showers, maybe a thunderstorm in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night:  Cloudy, low around 67.  Scattered showers, with a possible thunderstorm.

Thursday:  Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
