Ulster County Teen Arrested for Burglary

An Ulster County teenager allegedly kicked in a door and stole items from the residence.

State Police from Kingston responded to a report of a suspicious person outside a home on Fairway Drive in Hurley. Police say when they arrived they noticed the door to the residence was kicked in and 19-year-old Holbrook G. Christiana, of Accord was found inside the home.

An interview with the landlord confirmed that Christiana was not given permission to enter or damage property at the residence.

Christiana was charged with burglary, a class C felony and criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor. He was arrested without incident, arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court, and remanded to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
