An Ulster County man robbed a local Key Bank.

In Ulster County Court, Bradley Cook was sentenced to 2 to 7 years in prison. In March, a jury found him guilty of robbery.

On July 24, 2017, Cook walked to the Key Bank on Wall Street in Kingston dressed in a black hoodie, a baseball hat, black sunglasses, a scarf covering his neck and chin, and latex gloves.

The note stated, “no tracers, no dye bags, no police, nobody gets hurt.”

In response, the teller handed Cook $699 which he promptly took and exited the rear of the bank, according to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.

A still shot of the bank robber taken from security footage was distributed to police. Shortly, Cook was identified as the bank robber, found and arrested after he confessed to the crime, police say.
