An Ulster County man who was previously indicted on 22 charges relating to child porn plead guilty to one count.

Ernest Falconer, 64, of Woodstock, plead guilty to promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony.

Falconer’s arrest was the product of an investigation by the New York State Police into the illegal downloading of child pornography in the Woodstock area.

On June 25, 2015, New York State Police conducted an investigation into the distribution of possible child pornography utilizing a known social network. Police say a forensic analysis was done on Falconer’s computer and he was found to possess child pornography.

In February, Falconer was indicted on 12 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child and 10 counts of possession a sexual performance by a child, all felonies.

Falconer is scheduled to be sentenced in Ulster County Court for his guilty plea of promoting a sexual performance by a child on September 26.
