Police are investigating and hoping for help after an Ulster County man was killed after crashing his motorcycle into a car.

Wednesday evening, 42-year-old Raymond A. Hull III, of Hurley lost control of his 2005 Suzuki motorcycle while driving south on Kings Highway. Police say Hull crossed into the northbound lane, striking a 2000 Nissan Frontier driven by Scott Tucker, 41, of Saugerties.

Hull was treated at the scene by Paramedics from Diaz Ambulance and transported to Health Alliance Hospital Kingston Campus, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances regarding why Hull lost control of the motorcycle is still under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash, or may have seen Hull prior to the crash is asked to call Saugerties Police at (845) 246-9800.

Saugerties Police were assisted by the New York State Police Reconstruction Team, the NYSP road patrol, the Mt. Marion Fire Department, the Centerville Fire Department, and Diaz ambulance.
