It's been a tough week for chicken nugget lovers.

Earlier this week it was announced that Perdue recalled over 16,000 pounds of chicken nuggets. The recall focused on the Perdue Fun Shapes Refrigerated Chicken Breast Nuggets due to "misbranding and an undeclared allergen."

Another company is recalling their chicken nuggets today. Tyson has recalled 37,000 pounds of their chicken nuggets according to ABC7 NY. The U.S. Department of Agriculture say the recall is due to the product  possibly containing "extraneous materials, specifically rubber."

Tyson has said the material is a "small pieces of soft, blue plastic in the nuggets."

The recall is for the five pound bag of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets with the Best If Used by date of Nov 26 2019.

The case code for the recalled nuggets is 3308SDL03 with a time stamp of 23:00 through 01:59 and the establishment number P-13556 in the USDA mark of inspection.
