One store is located in Hunter and the second in Greenville.

According to New York State Police, the robberies took place over a span of a few days.

State Police say that the first robbery took place on Friday October 28th around 2:50 p.m. at the Cumberland Farms at 7582 Main Street in Hunter and the second took place around 12:15 a.m., Tuesday November 1, at the Cumberland Farms at 4887 NY-81 in Greenville.

In both robberies, the suspect demanded that the clerk give them money from the register and then fled on foot from both locations, police say.

The suspects in both robberies is being described by police as a tall male, with a thin build, and wearing dark clothing.

Sate Police and the Greene County Sheriff’s office are investigating the robberies. Officials say they have reason to believe the same suspect may have robbed both locations.
