Traffic Accident in Rhinebeck is now a Homicide Investigation

According the Poughkeepsie Journal, an auto accident in Rhinebeck is now being treated as a homicide. First responders were called to the scene of the accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the roadway.

The Poughkeepsie Journal is also reporting that the man, who has yet to be identified, appeared to be in his twenties, he was taken to Northern Dutchess Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Livingston Street, off of Route 9, is closed as of this writing with emergency responders still on the scene, according the Poughkeepsie Journal.
