Tom Hiddleston to Play Hank Williams in Biopic

Filming for the Hank Williams Biopic 'I saw the Light' will start filming this week in Louisiana according to The Hollywood Reporter. In September it was announced that Tom Hiddleston ( also known as Loki from the Thor films) will be portray Williams in the film.

I had my reservations when I heard the news, however, Hiddleston took to the stage to prove his worth. Down at the Wheatland Music Festival in Texas, Hiddleston performed the Hank Williams first real hit "Move It On Over."

I had no idea Tom Hiddleston could sing, let alone play the guitar. The more I look at Hiddleston and Williams, I totally understand the casting. The Hollywood Reporter just announced the rest of the cast as well, including Elizabeth Olsen (Mary Kate and Ashley's younger sister) who will be playing Hank's wife, Audrey Mae Williams.
