The country music world is no stranger to the wild and crazy especially when it comes to a night out with a few adult beverages are involved.

While we would never encourage any of this rowdy, we had to take a look back at one of the craziest country music arrests here in New York State. The event involving Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, the police and a police horse came up in conversation after news broke about Morgan Wallen's latest arrest.

Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw Arrest in NY in 2000

According to MTV News, it all went down in Buffalo, New York during the George Strait Country Music Festival at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

It was reported that after the show Kenny "sparked a police chase" after riding off on a deputy horse. McGraw then got involved when "deputies pulled Chesney off the horse."

The story goes, that Kenny Chesney was permitted to hop on a sheriff department horse by the daughter of Capt. James Coyle. Coyle at the time oversaw the department's mounted division.

However, Kenny got on the horse and rode it about 100 meters after Capt. Coyle's daughter told him to get off.  At that time Sgt. Mark Rokitka and Deputy Art Litzinger told Kenny to get off the horse, but he didn't.

This is where things go south. MTV News writes:

When Rokitka reached for Chesney, McGraw allegedly assaulted Litzinger, Staebell said. This reportedly erupted into a scuffle involving the sergeant, the two country singers and Russo.

Tim McGraw allegedly put the police officer in a headlock. Russo is referring to one of Tim McGraw's crew, Mark Russo.

Tim McGraw faced felony charges of assaulting a police officer and 3 misdemeanor charges but was freed on a $2,500 bond. Kenny was charged with disorderly conduct and released on his own recognizance.

Kenny Chesney Apologized for NY Horse Incident

After the "horse incident," Kenny did release a statement writing:

Unfortunately, what was meant to be a totally innocent and fun gesture, was blown way out of proportion. Tim McGraw and I have been friends for a very long time. When he saw me in danger of being harmed, he simply came over to help out his friend.

But it sounds like the June 2000 altercation brought Tim and Kenny closer together. Kenny went on in the statement to add:

"After seeing Tim's loyalty to me, we have become even closer. We certainly did not mean to offend anyone. We just came to New York to give Buffalo a great concert."

Morgan Wallen Arrested in Nashville...AGAIN

Another country music friend duo is feeling the heat after an altercation of sorts with officers.

Morgan Wallen was enjoying his time at Eric Church's new bar Chief's on Broadway in Nashville on Sunday, April 7th, 2024 when he decided it would be a great idea to throw a chair off the 6th-story rooftop bar.

The chair landed a few feet away from police officers down below.

Morgan has yet to release a statement regarding his latest arrest. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the law, Wallen was arrested for disorderly conduct in May of 2020 outside of Kid Rock's bar in Nashville.
