Three Great Events That Will Support Four Fire Companies

With Fall right around the corner and Summer of 2018 almost officially in the books it is time to start looking forward to some cooler weather events. All over the Hudson Valley their will be Fall festivals to enjoy with your family and friends. This is a reminder that in addition to all the great farm markets that will be serving up apples, pumpkins and corn mazes our local Fire Departments have a few family fun events planned too.

Tillison Fire Department Fall Festival - Located at 5 Tillison Road in Tillison will host their annual Fall Festival on September 22nd from 12pm to 5pm. Along with the Ladies Auxiliary the Fire Department has planned an afternoon of family fun activities with vendors, food, music, photos and demonstrations. This year Fall Festival will be held in memory of Captain Justin Joseph Scharschu. Come out and meet people from the community and support your local fire department.

Port Ewen Fire Department is planning a New Rescue Dedication and Open House on September 22nd at the Firehouse at 161 Broadway in Port Ewen. They are inviting you to join them from 1pm to 4pm for fun and festivities. The formal dedication of the truck will take place around 2pm.

Esopus and Rifton Fire Departments invite you to "Tee It Up" at their Joint Golf Tournament on October 6th at Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston. It is a Best Ball format Tournament with Registration at 11:30 and Shotgun Start at 1pm. Fee is $110 per person if paid by September 14th otherwise it is $120 per person and payment must be received by September 27th. All teams a foursomes. Tournament fee includes BBQ Lunch before the tournament, Golf and Cart, Special Gift and Water, beer and soda during lunch and on the course.
