September has arrived and their are so many things still to do on the weekends in the Hudson Valley. Get out your calendar and let's make a plan.

This weekend is Labor Day weekend and their are extended holiday hours at a lot of the Hudson Valleys' best locations. Some of the best things you can do are even free.

West Point Band Performance

This Saturday September 3rd, the West Point Band is having their annual end of summer concert with fireworks at Trophy Point. This family friendly, open to the public, free event includes one of the Hudson Valley's best views, entertaining music and fireworks accompanied by real cannon fire. Bring a picnic and a chair.

H.I.T.S. Horse Show

On Sunday Sept. 11 let's head to Saugerties for equestrian excitement at H.I.T.S. horse show's main arena. It is an International Grand Prix show jumping competition that results in some one and their horse walking away with one million dollars. The show grounds are open all day. Tickets are just $10 per person and the main event starts at 2pm.

Hudson River Craft Beer Festival

On Saturday, Sept. 17 your can enjoy the 4th Annual Hudson River Craft Beer Festival. Tickets are on sale now and the VIP tickets can only be purchased online. Live music, delicious food for purchase from local restaurants and 85 of the best craft breweries offing 200 different samples.
