This HV High School Scores Fifth in Most Diverse

If I've learned anything from all of the mandatory videos I have to watch at work it's that diversity is a good thing.

Diversity in schools is extremely important. This country is a melting pot and the younger we realize that the better. I grew up in a small suburb of Detroit but surprisingly, it was not a very diverse area. It wasn't until I moved to New York when I experienced cultures around me. I learned about these new cultures in a very important place too, the work place.

If kids are being taught the value and benefits of mixing beliefs and cultures at a young age in some Hudson Valley highs schools more than others.

New York Upstate ranked the most diverse schools in Upstate New York and The Beacon City School District came in at number five.

It's great that we have a school district leading the charge in diversity.
