The World Wide Web is 25 years old today, how did we survive before then?

The internet is 25 years old, just 25?!? Wait..you mean there was a time in our lives that we functioned on a daily basis without it?

We actually had to do things like, look a phone number up in a phone book, consult the Encyclopedia Brittanica to do homework, stop to ask someone for directions, and, heaven forbid, actually talk with our friends and family face to face.

I remember that it is was a really big deal if my Mom called my Dad at work, how many texts do you send your significant other during a workday? Checking the prices at the grocery store meant reading all of the newspaper ads and talking with your neighbors, today there's a ton of apps that let you compare prices on anything in the blink of an eye. Plus, to play your favorite video games you had to ask to go to the arcade, not simply open an app on your phone.

I remember that when you took a picture, you crossed your fingers that it would turn out. If, after you had the film developed, you discovered you had missed that once in a lifetime shot, you were out of luck.

Plus, it could be costly to get film developed, I remember my parents telling me that I was wasting film by taking so many pictures of everything. This could explain why today I have had to download all of the pictures off my Iphone and Ipad 3 times, as I have used all of the memory just with pictures and video! I proudly take pictures of everything, all the time, knowing the delete button is right there and I haven't wasted film or money!
