If you have a favorite country song, or two, that you haven’t heard in awhile, chances are that Rowdy Yates has it, and a few others you may have forgotten about, and will play them for you weekends on The Original Country Gold with Rowdy Yates, Saturday nights from 7 to midnight and Sunday mornings from 6-11.

This week, Rowdy will be shining the spotlight on the some of the spookiest songs in Country music and some other Halloween favorites that we all know and love. Which got me thinking, how many spooky songs are there in country music? Here's a few I came up with it. Let me know which songs you think would fit on a Halloween weekend.

This song was released in the spring of 1992 and would go on to win the CMA video of the year. 'Midnight in Montgomery'  by Alan Jackson.

This one definitely will make the hair go up on the back of your neck. Released in 1983, 'The Ride' by David Allan Coe.

When this song was released in 2001, it caused more than a few tears and chills. 'Riding With Private Malone' by David Ball.

It's going to be a spooky show this weekend, don't miss it as Rowdy will play some of the spookiest songs in Country music every hour this weekend on The Original Country Gold with Rowdy Yates, Saturday night from 7 to midnight and Sunday morning from 6-11 on 94.3/97.3 The Wolf.
