Texas Man Deposits 500 Pounds of Pennies (VIDEO)

If you look around your house or more importantly your car you will probably find a few pennies lying around. A few maybe but how about 81,600 pennies.

A man from Texas has deposited over $800 worth of pennies that he saved up for 65 years – they weigh in at 500 pounds.

81-year-old Ira Keys deposited his huge purse at a local bank. It took bank employees more than an hour to count the pennies, which consisted of about 81,600 pennies.
