In it's 7th season, The Voice continues to bring new fans to the singing competition show. It's fun, there's great music, and even if the coaches don't turn their chairs around during the blind auditions, they don't humiliate anyone like another reality singing competition seems to enjoy doing.

In each of the past seasons, coaches have brought in a friend or colleague to be a mentor for members of their team. Each coach brought their own mentor, until this year.

Carson Daly announced on the Today Show Friday morning, that Taylor Swift will serve as the sole mentor for all of the teams during the knock-out rounds (scheduled to air October 27, 28, and November 3). The team members would do well to listen to what she has to say, after all she has 7 Grammy Awards, 15 American Music Awards,11 CMA Awards, 7 ACM Awards, and 12 Billboard Awards.

This is big for The Voice, because no matter the genre of music Taylor sings, she's proven that she knows what she's doing and has millions of fans who will follow her wherever she goes.
