This is the kind of party I want to go to all the time.

As of right now parts of the Hudson Valley still have a significant amount of snow on the ground and it looks like their may be some more snow in the forecast later on this week and next week.

Which means one thing, sledding weather.

There are several great sledding locations around the Hudson Valley, however one in particular is offering a free fun say of sledding.

The town of Clermont in Columbia county is hosting a free sledding party on Saturday, February 10th. The event kicks off at 12pm and goes untill three and is open to the public and children of all ages.

Safety sleds will be on hand for sledders to use at their leisure.

Not only will you enjoy a free day of sledding, but there will be snowman building, a bonfire, free hot chocolate and other sweet treats for those who attend.

For more information visit Clermont's official website.
