There is old term, about paying the piper.  We’ve had some very nice weather, quite seasonal for the past few days and even the past few weeks.  It’s time to pay the piper.  No dry weather this weekend, it will be wet.  It won’t be a washout, but we will have showers and even thunderstorms.   High pressure has been controlling our weather, but ahead of a warm front, clouds will move in and we’ll see showers for Saturday.  The front will usher in a low-pressure system that will keep showers and thunderstorms with us.  Then on Sunday, a cold front will push into the area, that will keep the threat of showers and thunderstorms right to the end of the weekend.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Saturday:  Cloudy, with showers likely.  Thunderstorms during the afternoon.  High near 68.

Saturday night:  Cloudy, with a chance of showers and maybe a thunderstorm early.  Low near 62.

Sunday:  Cloudy, with a chance of showers.  Thunderstorms during the afternoon.  High near 82.
