Police are still searching for an elderly Hudson Valley man who went missing months ago.

Just before January 2017, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office began looking for 76-year-old Lawrence Molinaro of Cochecton. Molinaro was reported missing by his relatives after he missed a doctor’s appointment at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris.

He was last seen at his home by a neighbor.

On Sunday, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office used a scheduled training opportunity on to search the waters of the Delaware River for Molinaro. The Fire Service's Sullivan County Dive Team was scheduled to train in Roscoe, but diverted to the public boat launch in Narrowsburg at the request of Sheriff's Detectives. They were joined by divers from the National Parks Service. (Photos of the search can be seen above)

The extensive search turned up a few golf balls, a deer skull and a cane, police say.

Molinaro is 5’11” 300 pound white man with white hair and brown eyes, police say. He drives a gray 2004 Ford Explorer with a New York registration, CWG-9116. Molinaro’s car is also missing. (A photo of his car can be seen above)

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lawrence Molinaro is asked to call the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office at 845-794-7100.

In addition to Sullivan County, Molinaro is known to visit the Honesdale, Pennsylvania area. He also as relatives in Staten Island and Howell, NJ.
