It opens on Saturday May 27th.

According to the Daily Freeman, the Saugerties Farmers Market is back for the 17th year and this year promises to be fresh and new with some changes from years past.

The market will have a new manger this year. Her name is Christine Moss and she brings seven years experience as a chef.

The market will also have a new layout this year at 115 Main Street in the Cahill School parking lot and this year they have double the amount of on site parking.

Some of the new farmers that plan on attending this year include Long Season Farm in Kerhonkson, Fiddlehead Farm in Rosendale and New Paltz, plus many others.

As most farmers markets, they will also have something for everyone including fruit, meat, fish, eggs, maple syrup, honey, cider, jams, pickles,
distilled liquors, wine, beer and baked products with some being gluten free.

They will even have treats for dogs.
