Meet Izzie, a 3 month old Shepherd mix, that is still missing from the Humane Society of Middletown’s shelter.

Izzie was reportedly taken during a break in that occurred at the Humane Society of Middletown's Shelter on Bloominburg Rd. sometime between 5 p.m. June 7 and 8 a.m. June 8.

The humane society’s president, Marlene Freehill told the Times Herald Record that Izzie was taken, along with two 10 month old kittens that have been recently recovered.

She also said that there were about 100 dogs and cats at the shelter when the abductions occurred earlier in the month and that no other animals were taken. She does have an idea of what happened, she said that she believes that whoever took the animals had come in earlier to the shelter and considered adopting them, and then chose to go around the official process.

If you happen to see Izzie, they are asking you to call the Town of Wallkill police at 692-6757.

The reward for Izzie's return is $500.
