Where were you?

Back on September 11, 2001, at 8:46 A.M. and 9:03 A.M., two hijacked planes were crashed into the World Trade Center. Two other suicide flights crashed at the Pentagon and in the woods of Pennsylvania.

A total of 2,792 people died in the World Trade Center attacks. 184 innocent people died in the Pentagon attack (including those on the plane), and 40 died in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.

As we remember those lives that were lost 17 years ago today do you remember where you were when the attacks on America happened?

I was doing a radio show at a station in Poughkeepsie when the attacks happened and remember having to share the news on air with everyone and just like most people, I was in shock and couldn't believe what was happening. At first I thought it was a small plane that crashed in the first tower, it wasn't until I watched the second plane hit the second tower that I realized that we were under attack. I remember thinking about how the world was going to be so different after that moment.

Please join Jess and I as we remember those lives lost on 9/11 and join us as we recognize each and every first responder.
