The remains of all 10 sailors missing from the USS John S. McCain, including one from the Hudson Valley, have been recovered.

On Sunday just before 9 p.m., the U.S. Navy announced that Navy and Marine Corps divers recovered the remains of the remaining missing sailors.

Corey George Ingram, 28, an Information Systems Technician 2nd Class from Poughkeepsie, was among the missing sailors.

"It is with tremendous sadness that we in the City of Poughkeepsie learn what we all feared of the fate of Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Corey George Ingram," City of Poughkeepsie Mayor Rob Rolison said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family and friends as they along with all of us mourn the loss of this great American and hero. I have ordered all flags in the City of Poughkeepsie at half-staff."

Ingram graduated from Poughkeepsie High School. According to his Facebook page, he began serving in the U.S. Navy in 2013.

"He would always definitely keep a smile on your face. He has a smile that could light up a room for days," family friend Dana Coker told the NY Daily News.

The Navy announced on Thursday that they suspended their search and rescue efforts after searching for over 80 hours over a span of around 2,100 square miles. However, divers did continue to search inside the flooded compartments of the ship.

The USS John McCain collided with an oil tanker Monday near Singapore. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
