Red Flag Warning in Effect

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect until 6pm tonight. This means that dangerous fire weather conditions are expected due to the combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain.

WNBC 4, New York is reporting that a fast moving brush fire in Ocean County, New Jersey has spread to at least 150 acres and is threatening homes and a school.
