While most country stars were in Nashville on Wednesday night (June 7) for the 2017 CMT Music AwardsRascal Flatts were up in Cleveland, Ohio. The country trio performed the National Anthem prior to Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

Readers can press play above to watch Rascal Flatts' sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Game 3. Gary LeVox takes the lead, but, naturally, the performance is full of the group's signature harmonies.

Rascal Flatts have a personal tie to Cleveland: LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney are planning to open a restaurant in the city's Flats East Bank area. The location was reportedly scheduled to open in 2016 -- the project was announced that spring -- though no further details are available.

Rascal Flatts recently released a new studio album, Back to Us. Although they won't be touring behind the record too much this year, they do have a series of shows scheduled at the Venetian hotel and casino, in Las Vegas, Nev., in October. Dubbed Rascal Flatts — A Night to Shine, Rascal Flatts’ 2017 Sin City concerts are scheduled for Oct. 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20 and 21; all shows will take place at 8PM at the Venetian’s Venetian Theatre, an 1,800-seat venue.

Following Game 3, the Golden State Warriors are leading the Cleveland Cavaliers three games to none in their NBA Finals series. The winner of this series will receive the Larry O'Brien Trophy and be the 2016-2017 season NBA champions; Game 4 is scheduled for Friday (June 9).

Rascal Flatts aren't the only country stars to recently sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event: The Nashville Predators’ National Anthem singers during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs have all been country stars. Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan sang the Anthem during the Preds’ two home Round 1 playoff games, while Little Big TownVince Gill and his daughters Jenny and Corinna and Lady Antebellum sang during Round 2. For Nashville’s three home games during Round 3, the Western Conference Final series, Keith UrbanKelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood did the honors. Martina McBride performed before puck drop of the Predators first Stanley Cup Final home game, Game 3 of the series, while Dierks Bentley took Game 4.
