If you haven't gotten a chance to visit the newest theatre in the Hudson Valley now is the time to plan a trip. The Denizen Theatre which opened in October of 2018 is about to open the third show of their inaugural season and they may have saved the best for last. "Cal in Camo" opened the season with stellar reviews and an amazing run. The actors and crew worked to guarantee that the performances were on mark and emotionally charged every night. The second play of the season had as much impact and played to a younger demographic. "Adaptive Radiation" made it's world premier at the Denizen.

So, here they are ready to open show number three, Jacqueline Goldfinger's The Arsonists' directed by Ben Williamson. Sean Cullen a talented actor and Hudson Valley native has been cast to help bring The Arsonists' to the black box stage at the Denizen. Sean has appeared on stage, in movies and on television.  He was in the Oscar-nominated "Michael Clayton" with George Clooney. His upcoming films include HBO's "Paterno" with Al Pacino and Universal's "DeLorean" with Alec Baldwin. He has also appeared on CBS's "Bull", USA's "Suits", NetFlix's "House of Cards" and NBC's "The Blacklist".

His co-star is Jenny Jarnagin. She hails from New York City via Tennessee. An actress from The Flea Theater who studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting she is an amazing member of the cast.

The Arsonists' opens February 1st and runs through February 24th with shows Wednesday thru Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday performances at 2 pm. Tickets are $24 for regular admission, $15 for under 30 and Student price is $5. The Denizen, a black box theatre was the dream of Harry Lipstein. He built this inspiring venue for the Hudson Valley community at Water Street Market in New Paltz and hopes that every one will get an opportunity to share in the live theatre experience. One of the ways you can do this is through the Denizen Insider Program.
