Police Still Hoping For Help in Dutchess County Bank Robbery
A large reward is now up for grabs and more pictures and videos have been released as police plead for help in solving a local bank robbery.
New York State Police from Poughkeepsie are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of Millbrook on Hunns Lake Road in the Town of Stanford.
On August 7 around 1:15 p.m., an unidentified man entered the Bank of Millbrook on Hunns Lake Road in the Town of Stanford displayed what appeared to be a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money, police say.
The suspect fled the bank on foot and is believed to have entered a light-colored crossover or SUV type vehicle. Photos of the vehicle is pictured above.
The suspect is described as a 5’10” white man between 25 and 35 years old. He was seen wearing a dark colored winter cap, winter coat, dark colored pants, blue latex type gloves, a surgical mask and sunglasses. Photos of the man can also be seen above.
Police also released a number of videos from inside and outside of the bank during the robbery.

New York State Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
