Police: Pair Found Driving In Hudson Valley With 2 Pounds of Weed

Two men are in prison on $5,000 bail for allegedly driving in the Hudson Valley with about two pounds of weed in the car.

On Saturday, New York State Police in Monroe arrested 31-year-old Shane Allen of Far Rockaway and Hugh Campbell, 31, of East Elmhurst for second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

During a traffic stop on State Route 17 west in the Town of Monroe, the pair were found in possession of approximately 2 pounds of marijuana, police say.

Both were arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court and remanded to Orange County Jail on $5,000.00 bail.
