Local police are hoping for help as they look for four alleged fugitives from the Hudson Valley.

On Wednesday, the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (Urgent) released the names an crimes of the four local residents they have been unable to locate.

In the early hours Sept. 4, URGENT arrested several people following a prostitution investigation in the Town of New Paltz. One of the defendants, Alexa M. Stefanchik, 25, of Hopewell Junction, provided identity information of a relative at the time of arrest and later failed to appear in court, police say.

A bench warrant for Stefanchik’s arrest for offering a false instrument for filing, a felony, among other charges, has been issued. She is also wanted by the Towns of Poughkeepsie and Fishkill Police Departments, authorities say.

In Oct., numerous law enforcement officials arrested over 40 people after wrapping a two-year investigation into drugs and weapons. 28-year-old Lashawn J. Brickhouse and 31-year-old Maurice Wood both of Kingston remain at large, police say.

In late August, an arrest warrant was issued by Ulster County Court for 32-year-old Rackish G. Salmon formerly of Poughkeepsie after an Ulster County grand jury indicted him for felony drug sales.
