A Hudson Valley man allegedly was a real life Walter White and ran a meth lab.

On Thursday, State Police at Highland received a call regarding the possible production of methamphetamine in the Town of Plattekill. Troopers responded to a residence on Huckleberry Turnpike and, as a result of the investigation, a search warrant was signed by a Town of Gardiner judge.

As a result of the investigation, 37-year-old Franklin A Hallock of Plattekill was charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal possession of stolen property, both felonies, and misdemeanors for criminal possession of methamphetamine materials and six counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Hallock was arraigned before Town of Plattekill Court and remanded to the Ulster County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Due to the nature of the materials on scene, the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team responded and executed the search warrant.
