A Dutchess County woman is accused of threatening Central Hudson workers with a knife and pepper spray.

On Wednesday, New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks charged Mona F. Herman, 60, of Tivoli with menacing.

Around noon, troopers responded to Mandalin Court in the village of Tivoli for a report of a woman screaming at Central Hudson work crews in the area. Police allege an investigation found that Herman menaced the Central Hudson employees with a knife and pepper spray.

Herman was arraigned before the village of Red Hook Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,500 bond. She's due back in court on Tuesday.
