Pine Bush School Bus Accident in Accord

According to the Daily Freeman. A school bus carrying the Pine Bush High School varsity and junior varsity field hockey teams struck a motorcycle Monday afternoon, injuring the biker and several people on the bus, according to state police.

Police said the First Student Inc. bus — driven by Leonard F. Kreieger, 67, of Pine Bush, and carrying 34 female student athletes and three other people — was northbound on U.S. Route 209, approaching the intersection with Whitfield Road, when it struck the slowing motorcycle from behind just after 3:15 p.m. The bike, a 2014 Honda, was being operated by Paul O. Burge, 53, of Stone Ridge.
