If you live in the Pine Bush area and you order a pizza this weekend, you will be helping to raise awareness about substance abuse.

It's a huge weekend for local pizzerias with the big game on Sunday and the Greater Pine Bush Partnership is trying to raise awareness about substance abuse by placing stickers with facts about drug and alcohol use on about 1,000 pizza boxes.

Partnership coordinator, Annette Kahrs, told the Times Herald Record that, the campaign is using the pizza boxes to encourage parents to have open discussions with their kids about avoiding drugs and alcohol.

As of now, there will be 7 participating pizzerias in the Pine Bush, Walker Valley and Bullville area including, Pizza Plus, Pudgy's, Cobblestone, Tosco's, Sienna's, Villa Gaudio and Mountain View.

If you are around any of these pizza places, make sure you call and order away and help in the mission to raise awareness about substance abuse.
