Each week the Ulster County SPCA highlights just a few of the animals that are looking for good homes. The staff and volunteers work hard to take care of the animals that are currently at the shelter and to work to find them good homes.

In an effort to be able to house more stray, abandoned, and surrendered dogs, the Ulster County SPCA has kicked off a building expansion aimed at adding 25 kennels. With over 100 cats and more than 50 dogs already in the shelter, they have met their kennel capacity. You can help by clicking here to donate.

Nellie is a 5 year old spayed female. She grew up in a hoarding situation with around 50 cats so shelter life is a little confusing for her. She is a little shy but warms up pretty quickly! Stop in and see her.
