Opening Christmas presents is something we all look forward to on Christmas day. I always enjoyed watching my nephew under the tree. Kids and Christmas presents are one of those things that just make you smile. It is so great when they open the gift which is the one they asked Santa for and immediately forget anything else exists. They do the "look what I got dance" which ends with them landing on the floor to feverishly begin playing with it.

For those of us without children on Christmas morning we have often inserted our pet into to the roll of child under tree. I am guilty of putting presents under the tree for my dogs. I have also had the dog that has opened all of the presents under the tree when left unsupervised. Even people who do have little ones to enjoy Christmas with have been know to get the family pets a gift or two.

So all that said I thought today I would share a video I found of some pets and their holiday gifts. If it works out I will be sure to video my little Pearl opening her gifts this year and share that after Christmas.

On a side note if this puts a smile on your face maybe consider a donation to your local animal shelter this holiday season. Also make sure you keep presents that can be toxic to pets out from under the tree. It only takes a minute for them to get into something that might spoil Christmas for the entire family and make them very sick
