The Magic Wheelchair builds custom chairs for kids all over the country. We're excited to announce that they will be revealing their latest build for a child right here in the Hudson Valley this Sunday.

If you remember, a few months back at The Hudson Valley Comic Con we got to meet Noah. Noah suffered a brain injury at a young age and is now in a wheel chair. You can check out Noah's story here. Thanks to organizations like Magic Wheelchair and Ringmaster Builders, Noah and other local kids can have their chairs transformed into whatever their imagination can come up with. Dragons, chariots, space ships and horses aren't off limits.

This Sunday at the Hudson Valley Renegades game Magic Wheelchair will be revealing their latest build for a local boy named Dennis. Like most kids his age, Dennis loves Star Wars. That's why Dennis will be receiving a chair that has been built into Luke Skywalker's Land Speeder.

"We are at a point in Dennis' life we are here to make him as comfortable as possible and to give him the best quality of life we possibly can. I think any normal person would just give up. Thankfully Dennis is a fighter and the one thing I will know is he fought hard, and truthfully its inspiring"!

A hero like this deserves to cruise the galaxy in style.

The reveal will take place on Sunday, August 26 at 5pm just before the Renegades stomp the Staten Island Yankees.

You can join us at the game and watch Dennis see his finished chair for the first time. There is even a discounted price on tickets for the occasion through the Renegades box office.
