There are some really beautiful golf courses in our area and one of the nicest is for sale at a price that seems pretty cheap.

The Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston is on the blocks and it has been around here since 1954. It's a private club with membership running around $4,000 per year. The times have changed and people don't want to spend thousands on a golf membership, just  to play at the same club over and over again. Most private golf clubs around the country are experiencing a decline in members.

According to the Daily Freeman, the stunning scenery, along with the 18 hole course and a beautiful clubhouse will cost you $3.5 million. That is pretty reasonable for all this prime real estate.  You get a lot for your money.

There is a 12,000-square-foot second clubhouse second level that “offers expansive dining and entertaining areas with stunning vistas of the course and Catskill Mountains, as well as a large commercial kitchen, public rest rooms and elevator,” the listing said.

Murphy Realty is handling the sale, so if you want to buy one of the valley's most beautiful golf courses get in touch with them. The hope is that the buyer will keep it a golf course, but you never know what someone might want to do with a spot that has these views of the Catskills.  The Wiltwyck remains open for golf, weddings and all the other activities that take place there while the club looks for a new owner.
