I can't believe that I just stumbled over this news. Goman Kudasai Noodle Escape in New Paltz is closing its doors this weekend for good after 10 years of serving the most amazing food. The worst part is while I was tracking down the information so we could get our last taste of the "out of this world broth" that they make and serve over other heavenly ingredients that include veggies, chicken and beef, I see on Facebook that they had to close due to an emergency at the restaurant and that the closure is until further notice. I fear my last chance to taste their vegetable tempura with their one of a kind broth has come and gone.

Goman Kudasai was not just a refreshing place to eat but they also brought interesting culture and entertainment to their space. Local bands enjoyed playing, they showed Japanese movies and they even had Ikebana flower arrangement lessons. It was a one of kind restaurant in a community that prides itself on originality.

According to an HV1 news story published February 13, 2018 online there maybe a chance that the owners will re-open in Kingston.
