According to the NYSDOT Facebook page, there are a bunch of different jobs that they are looking to fill including, bridge repair assistants in Western NY, highway maintenance workers, mechanics and engineers in the Hudson Valley. They are also looking to hire people before winter as plow drivers across the state.
