Could we finally have an answer to why boats and planes seem to disappear in the Bermuda Triangle. Yesterday "TODAY" reported on a story that seems to provide a possible answer to what might be causing the unexplained disappearances in the area of the Atlantic Ocean between Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico known as the Bermuda Triangle.

The Bermuda Triangle has long been a mystery. Over the years it has been much speculation on what might be causing all the mysterious activity. Everything from weather to paranormal to extraterrestrial activity has been assumed responsible for the the unexplained accidents and disappearances in the watery triangle that sits in the western Atlantic near the east coast of the United States.

According to this recent discovery reported by TODAY and Science Alert the cause could be that a strange hexagon shaped clouds that can be seen in recent satellite imagery. These clouds referred to as "air bombs" can contain winds up to 170 mph causing extremely large waves and unpredictable weather. Could this be the answer?
