My ‘One Tree Hill’ Dreams Came True at the Dutchess County Fair

Who knew the Dutchess County Fair could make dreams come true?!

We had a blast yesterday broadcasting day two of the Dutchess County Fair up in Rhinbeck. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the Brothers Osborne tore it up on the Grandstand stage.

While the Fair itself is like a dream, one of the coolest moments of my life happened right before the Brothers Osborne hit the stage.

If you listen to the show you know I'm a HUGE fan of the show "One Tree Hill." Me and my high school and college all watched growing up. Teenaged angst drama, it was my bread and butter.

Anyway, Hilarie Burton, a.k.a. Peyton Sawyer, is a Hudson Valley resident and just so happened to be at the show last night.

We had been going back and forth on Twitter the other day, because me and CJ might have borrowed her husband's new Harley. So the timing was perfect. If you ask CJ, he'll tell you it was a Hallmark moment when we ran towards each other to hug it out.

I have a lot of ideas about a One Tree Hill reboot that involve me being an intern at Red Bedroom Records.
