No really!

If you haven't been following along, let me catch you up with my house debacle.

The ceiling in the kitchen was leaking water and it looked like the ceiling was going to cave in in both the kitchen and in the upstairs bedroom.

So my wife and I sold our house back in January and found a new house in Wappingers Falls. After going back and forth with the bank for a few months we closed on the house back in April.

We knew going in that the house needed some work so we hired a contractor to do some renovations before we moved in. We literally have the best contractor. He has been great through this whole process. The house, on the other hand, does not want to cooperate.

I mean everyday over the last month or so it has been something: we have had septic issues, other plumbing issues and a handful of other things that prevented us from moving in until this past weekend.

We moved in and slept in the new house last Saturday and thought that the worst was behind us, until yesterday.

My wife called me in a craze that the ceiling in the kitchen was leaking water and it looked like the ceiling was going to cave in in both the kitchen and in the upstairs bedroom. She turned off all the water and the leak wouldn't stop and that's when she figured out it might be the central air conditioner leaking. After shutting it down the leak eventually stopped and now we need to find someone to come and try to figure out what the hell is wrong.

I'm writing this to kind of vent a little bit, but I really wanted to put this out there so I could show off my wife's "Redneck Ingenuity."

Take a look at the leak catcher she built in our kitchen last night.

She is a genius! Now I'm off to the money pit to see what goes wrong next. LOL.

Have a great weekend.
