Mohonk Preserve is encouraging healthy living in the Hudson Valley by offering a free one month pass as part of Healthy Ulster Autumn. The Daily Freeman reports Ulster County residents can obtain their passes from August 25th through the 28th.

To obtain the pass, you must have ID with proof of residency. They can be picked up at the Preserve Visitor Center between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Passes may also be acquired at Farm Trailhead in High Falls on Aug. 27 and Aug. 28. The passes will be OK to use through September 25.

More than 13,000 free one month passes have been handed out over the six years that Mohonk has participated in the program. Residents must pick them up in person unless you're a minor which may be acquired by a parent or guardian.

Healthy Ulster County is an initiate that encourages residents to get active and eat health. Ulster County Executive Mike Hein supports the program.

If you nab your free pass, you'll be able to climb this bad boy at Bonticou Crag.
